Exterior - Library & Dining Centre

Library & Dining CentreThis is the Lisle Road end of the site, looking north-west towards the two new buildings.

In 1936, there was nothing at all here. Then, in the 60s, a new dining block was (which was occasionally used as an overflow classroom) built on the left.

Eventually, a new canteen block was built on the far site, but was later demolished and a new dinner centre and community hall was built.

The near building with the dramatic roof is now the two-storey library.
