ROBSON, Mark Charlton

Mark Charlton Robson joined the High School at the age of 12 on a Corporation Scholarship. His father, Robert Swann Robson, worked with the railway as a Traffic Manager. His mother was Elizabeth Mary Robson. Mark left the school in Dec-1900, and went on to be a Railway Clerk. On 17-Nov-1915, he joined up as a Sapper with the Royal Engineers (Railway Division), staying with the Home Campaign until his discharge through ill health on 11-Sep-1917. He died on 3-May-1955 of mitral valve disease. |
