Thomas Frederick Sutcliffe was the son of dental surgeon, Bradford-born Charles Frederick Sutcliffe and his Scottish wife, Helen Dumbreck Sutcliffe. Thomas joined the High School in September, 1892 at the age of 7, but left just over a year later. However, he came back in September, 1898, and remained until he finally left in December, 1901. On leaving school he followed his father, and became a dental surgeon. He served as a Captain with the Durham Light Infantry, but not much else is known. He died on 30-Dec-1950 in the Ingham Infirmary, South Shields. |
