Once the evacuation party had settled in Appleby, Mr William Hunter prepared an 8-page souvenir booklet for the boys, with illustrations by art teacher, Mr Henry Stephenson. This particular copy belonged to Jack Urwin of the lower fourth , and on page 6 he has marked with a cross where he lived (in Thanet Terrace, near the Central School and between the two railway stations).
